To fix the issue open the explorer and navigate to: C:\Users\
Open the folder with your username
In this folder you should have a file with name ".gitconfig". If the file not exist,
create it (It is no typo, the name will written with the dot at the beginning of 
the filename: .gitconfig

Open the existing / new file with an editor and add the following lines to the end of the file

Epic Games Launcher识别本地引擎文件

  1. 打开Epic Games Launcher点击添加新版本UE_4.xx，会创建UE_4.xx文件夹并下载
  2. 停止下载，拷贝你已经下载好的虚幻4版本到UE_4.xx目录，比如“D:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games”
  3. 点击继续下载
